I've never been one for continuity, to be honest. Things change for me so often that I have this organic way of compartmentalizing my life. I break things up into chunks of time, when the reality is that my life has been one long series of "one thing led to another." I've had to learn to be careful, though, because if I didn't have those break-off points, I would end up trying to carry my whole life around with me all the time.
